In 2006, after dispensation had been granted to form General Court Lodge, the practice of Charter Membership began, which consisted of a $100 fee which entitled the member to a lapel pin, distinct metallic membership card and inclusion on the permanent charter, which was requested in June 2011, after the original, five year charter lapsed at the end of the year. Charter Membership has closed but membership remains open, and as more Freemasons who meet the prerequisites become eligible to join, we would encourage them!
